Innovative airplane solution The Airhook makes its debut

US-based Vision 2 Invention has created an innovative airplane travel device called The Airhook.
The Airhook is a drink holder as well as a secure mount for an electronic device (iPad, Kindle, iPhone) that attaches to the tray table in its locked position.
Designed to elevate the level of comfort and convenience for airplane travelers, allowing for maximum legroom, The Airhook uses the tray table in its vertical locked position as an anchor, rather than horizontally as a platform. Travelers no longer need to sacrifice space with the folding down trays, which take up all the extra legroom.
“Tray tables were designed decades ago and no longer satisfy today’s travel needs,” said Craig Rabin, who invented The Airhook. “Our team of engineers designed The Airhook to better accommodate travelers’ existing airline seat space.”
To use The Airhook, travelers simply attach the device’s anchor over the top of the tray table, then place a beverage in the opening, and use The Airhook’s device holding rib and adjustable bungee to fasten any phone or tablet up to 8.5 inches tall when in the horizontal position. Then, they can sit back and move freely throughout their flight.
Rabin added: “We are passionate about developing products such as The Airhook to suit today’s needs by better utilizing existing resources.”
