Stansfeld Scott welcomes new members at team meeting

All of Stansfeld Scott’s sales and marketing employees enjoyed team-building activities during its 2018 general sales meeting

Stansfeld Scott, the Caribbean distribution specialist, has welcomed new staff members at its 2018 general sales meeting.

To kick off the new fiscal year, the entire Stansfeld Scott sales and marketing team met for a week of review, planning and strategy while welcoming two of the newest Portfolio Managers for the Spirits Division: Scott Bowman, and Marielle des Etages.

The annual meeting is described as a high-energy and engaging week that allows team members, especially remote staff, to interact and connect on a more personal level.

Ethan Perk, Vice President for Sales & Marketing, opened the meeting by reviewing the fiscal year just ended and commented: “Despite the hurricanes that impacted the Caribbean last year, we had significant achievements across the region. More importantly, all factors are showing a very positive outlook for the new year ahead.”

In addition to the full schedule of meetings which covered a review of portfolio opportunities and strategies, new ideas and fresh perspectives, all Stansfeld Scott employees engaged in a fun team-building Surf and Turf cooking class at Sur La Table.

Employees were encouraged to showcase their culinary skills as they worked in teams to prepare a three-course meal. “While it was not a competition, each team declared themselves the winner,” said Perk.

At the close of the meeting, Brian Cabral, CEO, thanked everyone for their commitment and support and challenged the team to continually innovate and ask the question, “How can we do what we do, better?”
