Bacardi and Phoenicia Aer Rianta partner to attract shoppers at Beirut Duty Free

Bacardi Global Travel Retail is partnering with Phoenicia Aer Rianta Co in a campaign for the John Dewar & Sons Fine Whisky Emporium at Beirut Duty Free.

The John Dewar & Sons Fine Whisky Emporium is positioned at the front of the store in Departures duty free and capitalizes on Dewar’sposition as the world’s most awarded blended Scotch whisky. 

Shoppers are invited to taste samples from the Dewar’s range presented by brand ambassadors from a wooden stave. The heritage-style serving trolley is set against a Dewar’s branded backdrop and offers the full range of Dewar’s across all age statements, including Glen Deveron and Aberfeldy single malts.

“Dewar’s is a very popular brand with long-standing affection amongst Lebanese whisky lovers. Beirut is a also fantastic location for us to reach regional travelers, meet people new to the Dewar’s range and help them discover our portfolio of single malts,” said Philippa Coleman, Regional Manager MEA, Bacardi Global Travel Retail.

Phoenicia Aer Rianta Co General Manager Ciaran O'Neill added: “Lebanese whisky shoppers are extremely brand oriented and carry a passion for their personal favorite, and Dewar’s is a market-leading brand.
