San Francisco International Airport announces café concession opportunity in Terminal 3
San Francisco International Airport has begun the Request for Proposals (RFP) process for a Terminal 3 café lease, a Small Business Enterprise Set-Aside.
The café premises consists of one location totaling approximately 1,205 square feet in Terminal 3, boarding area F, next to gate 86.
The lease term is 10 years and the minimum annual guarantee (MAG) is US$310,000.
Per lease year, the base rent shall be the higher of the MAG or the sum of the percentage rent as follows:
• 8% of gross revenues achieved up to and including US$500,000.00; plus
• 10% of gross revenues achieved between $500,000.01 up to and including US$1,000,000.00; plus
•12% of gross revenues achieved over US$1,000,000.00.
The Airport Commission has scheduled an informational conference for November 15, 2018, at 10am at the Aviation Museum and Library in the International Terminal at San Francisco International Airport.
Staff will discuss the desired concept, minimum qualification requirements, address any questions relating to the lease, and receive comments from participants. Small, local and disadvantaged businesses are encouraged to participate.
