The new Farm Fresh Deli outlet at Pittsburgh International Airport offers a classic deli atmosphere and menu that includes specialty sandwiches, potato salad, coleslaw and pasta salad, salads made with organic greens, and organic soups

Specialist delicatessen Farm Fresh Deli has opened at Pittsburgh International Airport’s AirMall offering made-to-order sandwiches, homemade organic soups, salads and side dishes made with fresh ingredients.

“Pittsburgh Farm Fresh Deli not only treats travelers to their favorite classic deli foods, they elevate the menu with natural, organic and specialty dishes,” said Bob Kerlik, Vice President of Media Relations. “They also source some produce locally when in season.”

Located in the Center Core, the 607 square feet Farm Fresh Deli outlet offers a classic deli atmosphere and menu that includes specialty sandwiches, potato salad, coleslaw and pasta salad, salads made with organic greens, and organic soups. The breakfast fare includes sandwiches and paninis made with sausage or bacon, eggs made to order, and carved ham off the bone.

Sandwiches span Italian subs, pastrami, or fresh-roasted ham, turkey and free-range chicken, all hand-carved to order and served on fresh bread handcrafted by BreadWorks.

An added touch is the Pickle Pepper Patch, an assortment of 16 pickles and peppers to customize their sandwich.

Pittsburgh International Airport serves more than 8 million passengers annually on 13 carriers with 63 non-stop destinations on more than 170 daily flights.
