This buoyant forecast comes from the Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA)’s newly published 2019 State of the Cruise Industry Outlook.

The majority of ships will be sailing in the Caribbean (34.4%), followed by the Mediterranean (17.3%) and Europe (11.1%).

China accounts for 4.9%, with 4.8% being deployed in Australia, New Zealand and the Pacific; 4.7% in Alaska; and 4.3% in Asia.
