Godiva restructures Global Travel Retail team to enable and accelerate growth

By Wendy Morley

Christoph Neusser, VP/GM Global Travel Retail, is convinced that these changes will help drive Godiva global retail to the next phase of growth

To support its drive to significantly develop and grow its global business, Godiva Chocolatier has announced key changes to its Global Travel Retail team. The company has created a Marketing and Business Development team that will function as the “engine” of the business unit.

Leen Baeten has been appointed Senior Manager Marketing & Business Development.

Diana Lingua, who joined the company in April as Brand Manager, joined the company from Mondelez UK, where she worked as Brand Manager in the domestic market.

Ramon Iglesias will head up the newly reorganized global travel retail EMEA sales team as Regional Director EMEA.  Iglesias joined the company seven years ago.

Bettina Van Buynder will report to Iglesias as Senior Area Manager Western Europe, Céline Leroy will take on the role of Area Manager South Europe & North Africa, Charlie Cassam Chenai will be Area Manager for Middle East & Gulf. In the coming weeks the sales team will also add an Area Manager Northeast Europe.

CS Lam has been promoted to the role of Senior Director Asia Pacific, with the goal of continuing to grow and expand the global travel retail business in the area.

Says Christoph Neusser, VP/GM Global Travel Retail: “I am convinced that these changes will help us drive our GTR-organization to the next phase of growth. This is an important element of our strategy to significantly develop our global travel retail business.”
