ARI opens new store at Tivat airport
In April of this year, Aer Rianta International (ARI) opened a location at Podgorica airport in Montenegro, and now it has opened its new store at Tivat airport as well.
The new store features P&C, liquor, sunglasses and travel essentials over 100 square meters. The store also offers authentic, local “sense of place” items, with a broad choice of wines, locally produced foods and destination-branded souvenirs, gifts and toys.
Commenting on the opening, General Manager, Montenegro Duty Free, Deyan Fitzgerald stated: “I’m thrilled to open our second Duty Free store in Montenegro, in the coastal Tivat Airport today. We are very proud to add Tivat to our portfolio, serving this fantastic and awe-inspiring tourist destination with a world-class duty free shopping experience. The team in Montenegro, as well as our central colleagues in ARI have pulled out all the stops to make these two openings happen within a short space of time. It’s been a true team effort. I’d also like to thank Airports of Montenegro for all their support and efforts in making these openings possible.”
Mr. Ognjen Jovović, Member of the Board of Directors and Acting CEO at Airports of Montenegro added: “We at Airports of Montenegro are very pleased to welcome Montenegro Duty Free to Podgorica Airport, which opened in April and Tivat Airport which opened today. We wish ARI well on its expansion, as they operate here in Montenegro for the first time, and I have no doubt that with its track record, it will spearhead the recovery in travel retail and achieve great success.”
