Colorful Africa inspires CH Carolina Herrera’s fragrant limited edition
CH Carolina Herrera has taken inspiration from the colorful continent of Africa for her new limited-edition perfume line.
With CH Africa, designer Carolina Herrera de Baez aims to show the continent from a different perspective, through the colors, figures, textures and patterns formed by its landscapes.
Using aerial photography as her main means of inspiration, the limited-edition line highlights the contrast between Kenya's lush vegetation and Nigeria's deserts, the intensity of Tanzania's red lake and the diversity of the salt pans emulating mosaics in the earth.
CH Africa comprises two vibrant and fresh fragrances:
Based on red African sunsets, the feminine, refined CH Africa Women fragrance begins with orange zest, followed by the sensuality of cinnamon and the sophistication of iris flowers, and ends with the warm incense of Somalia.
Intense and energetic, CH Africa Men represents green Africa. It starts with notes of green pepper and pink peppercorns from Madagascar, with Kenyan coffee at its heart and a base of cashmere wood.
The bottle features a camouflage print, one of the strongest trends of the season. Printed leather and new golden charms are inspired by the African savannah.
Both fragrances are available in 100ml bottles. They were initially launched in May in the Americas travel retail market exclusively with Dufry, and in Asia Pacific travel retail. The Middle East travel retail launch is taking place in June. They are not available in European travel retail.
