philosophy breathes new life into skincare range

philosophy’s take a deep breath oil-free oxygenating gel cream is a lightweight, oil-free gel cream that keeps skin hydrated, energized, radiant and protected from pollution

Coty-owned beauty brand philosophy has unveiled a new collection that helps skin breathe freely by creating an on-demand reservoir of oxygen that fuels skin.

The new range, called take a deep breath, features exclusive clean-air technology that acts as a delivery system for oxygen to the skin, while the antioxidant and anti-pollutant blend works to leave skin energized and radiant-looking.

Described as a new scientific skincare achievement, the brand’s exclusive clean-air technology harnesses the power of photosynthesis. Its exclusive natural technology is obtained after enhancing the natural oxygen production in the barley plant, providing a very potent barley leaf extract that maximizes oxygen.

Through clean-air technology, the reservoir of oxygen on the skin’s surface means an increase in the cells’ energy which translates to optimal skin-cell functions. This allows skin to look radiant and energized.

With the first application, dryness is quenched, leaving skin smooth and soft. Skin feels and looks fresh, healthy and radiant.

Pores and imperfections are less noticeable, oxygen levels are boosted and the skin feels protected, less sensitive and stronger, the company said.

The range includes oil-free oxygenating gel cream, a lightweight, oil-free gel cream that keeps skin hydrated, energized, radiant and protected from pollution; and eye oxygenating eye gel cream, a lightweight, cooling eye cream that keeps the eye area vibrant and young-looking, while caffeine and a blend of peptides help reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circles.

The on-counter date for Asia Pacific is July 2016.
