Rituals customer survey chooses seven packs exclusively for travel retail

Rituals offers new launches based on social media feedback

Beauty brand Rituals launched a new range of travel retail exclusive packs on April 1.

Seven product pouches are available, and the contents of each were chosen by users through social media feedback.

“We conducted extensive social media-driven research asking Rituals users what they’d like to find if we were to put together a collection of our products especially for them when traveling and on holiday,” said Neil Ebbutt, Director Wholesale, Rituals.

Their choices were almost unanimously for body, skin, hand care and sun care products.

The company has developed five different pouches based on its most popular rituals containing oils, foams, creams and scrubs. Another two pouches are specifically for hand care and skin and sun care. Each pouch contains four products. The pack volumes range from 30ml to 75ml, keeping them all within the liquids and gels security limits.

“Not only is this range exclusive to travel retail, it is also designed for use on your travels, so the airport sales channel could not be more relevant. It’s the right product concept at the right place at exactly the right time, and we expect all of the seven packs to do extremely well,” said Ebbutt.

The pouches themselves are designed so they have great gifting potential as well, he noted.

The range comprises: Hand Care Travel Exclusives, containing 75ml Ginkgo's Secret, 75ml Miracle Balm, Nail File, 50ml Hands Free; Ayurveda Travel Exclusives, with 70ml Brillant Bliss, 70ml Honey Touch, 50ml Yogi Flow, 70ml Ayurveda Scrub; Sakura Travel Exclusives, comprising 50ml Zensation, 70ml Carpe Diem, 70ml Magic Touch, 70ml Rice Scrub; Laughing Buddha Travel Exclusives, made up of 50ml Happy Buddha, 75ml Fortune Oil, 70ml touch of Happiness, 70ml Fortune Scrub; Skin Travel Exclusives, with 50ml Sun Protection Face Cream SPF30, 30ml Sensational Soft Cleanser, 50ml Aftersun Hydrating Lotion, 30ml Mild Eye Make-Up Remover; Dao Travel Exclusives, consisting of50ml T'ai Chi, 70ml Wai Wang, 70ml Mei Dao, 50ml Qi Gong; and Samurai Travel Exclusives, with 70ml Samurai Cool Scrub, 50ml Samurai Shower, 50ml Cool Deo, 70ml Samurai Ice Shower.
