Rituals is inspired by yin and yang in new collection
Rituals Cosmetics has unveiled the new TAO Collection consisting of six products plus a gift set.
Hitting the travel retail shelves now, the collection is inspired by ancient Chinese Taoist philosophy, which seeks to achieve a harmonious balance of yin and yang.
Traditional ingredients are used, such as white lotus and Chinese peppermint, whose properties are known to have a soothing and nourishing effect upon the body.
“This is a truly original creation with a very appealing product story behind it that is particularly appropriate for travel retail customers “said Neil Ebbutt, Rituals’ wholesale director for travel retail.
“Even though we all look forward to our travels, there is no denying it can sometimes be stressful and exhausting and the products in the TAO collection couldn’t be more relevant.”
The collection will be showcased next month on the Rituals stand at the TFWA Asia Pacific show in Singapore.
One product in the TAO portfolio is called Qi, a light cream serum which comes in a palm-size 15ml dispenser with a rotating ballpoint tip that releases a controlled flow of serum when massaged against the temple or wrist. The serum creates a slight tingling sensation which has the effect of being gently relaxing.
The launch of the TAO collection, which also includes a gift set, is being supported by high-profile consumer advertising in major domestic markets.
