A successful show in Cannes for Waldemar BEHN is followed by the exciting new launch of their website in Russian and Chinese
Waldemar BEHN, the family-owned German spirits company celebrating its 125th year in business in 2017, reported a globally successful TFWA World Exhibition in Cannes and announced the launch of its Russian and Chinese language websites.
Also, a newly founded alliance between Waldemar BEHN and Pallini Limoncello, the Italian family-owned company producing Pallini Limoncello, the N° 1 Limoncello brand in Duty Free & Travel Retail, highlighted the Cannes activities. This alliance – named Family Brands Alliance - will strengthen both companies in the changing travel retail world, and help them optimize logistics, marketing and service.
The Waldemar BEHN brands, led by DANZKA Vodka, DANZKA THE SPIRIT, and Dooley's Cream Liqueur, also enjoyed a very positive response in Cannes this year. “We had a really busy week, filled with detailed meetings with clients from all over the world,” comments Waldemar BEHN GmbH CEO Rüdiger Behn. “At times, we had as many five clients together enjoying the big Scandinavian table that is the centrepiece of our booth in Cannes,” says Behn. “Our newest introduction, DANZKA THE SPIRIT, has delivered an excellent performance in Asia, Europe and the CIS region with 19% uplift in Moscow. We are now moving forward with the next phase of the DANZKA THE SPIRIT launch in the Americas with DUFRY in the second quarter of 2018, even as we roll it out at the end of this year in Australia,” he explained.
The launch of Waldemar BEHN’s DANZKA website in Russian and Chinese marks a new milestone for the company. It is the result of many months’ work and effort, and reflects the expanding global reach of the brand.
