Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Alfred Dunhill unveil travel retail exclusive gift pack

By Ryan White

Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Alfred Dunhill, two iconic British luxury houses, have joined forces to create a Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Alfred Dunhill travel retail exclusive gift pack.

The gift pack forms part of a limited edition collection inspired by the pioneering spirit of John Walker and Alfred Dunhill and their journeys from Britain to the four corners of the world. The travel retail pack, designed by Alfred Dunhill, includes a unique Johnnie Walker Blue Label 1 liter bottle embossed with a map design. Both the interior and exterior of the pack also feature the contours of a map, bringing to life a shared journey and reflecting the travel credentials of both Johnnie Walker and Alfred Dunhill.

Identifiable by signature design elements of both brands—the iconic Johnnie Walker Blue Label blue color packaging and Dunhill's famous “Chassis” design—the gift pack also features copper finishing inspired by the copper stills used in the whisky distillation process.

To celebrate the launch of this travel retail exclusive gift pack, Johnnie Walker Blue Label and Alfred Dunhill pop-ups have been installed in some of the world’s busiest airports to showcase the beautifully crafted pack and offer samples to travelers. These include bold activations in Shanghai Pudong International Airport Terminal 2, landside in Incheon International Airport in South Korea and in Concourse A of Dubai International Airport.

Steve White, Global Marketing Director of Diageo Global Travel and Middle East: “With the Johnnie Walker Blue Label limited edition travel retail exclusive gift pack designed by Alfred Dunhill, two British icons celebrate a shared journey towards achieving the extraordinary. It is therefore fitting that a travel retail exclusive gift pack has been created for global travelers to enjoy on their own great journeys.”

This partnership with Dunhill is the brand’s latest in a series of game-changing collaborations with innovative design houses, and the collection in totality perfectly accentuates the rarity and flavor of Johnnie Walker Blue Label.

The Johnnie Walker Blue Label travel retail exclusive gift pack designed by Alfred Dunhill will be available for global travelers in 41 travel retail outlets globally at a recommended retail price of US$300.
