Changi Airport calls for major confectionery concession tender across all terminals
Changi International Airport Group is inviting established retailers to bid for nine concessions selling confectionery across all its terminals
Singapore’s Changi International Airport Group (CAG) is inviting established Chocolate/Candy/Delicatessen retailers to participate in a direct marketing exercise for nine concessions at the Departure/Transit Lounge across all four airport terminals.
In the tender document, CAG said it is seeking retailers who can provide the best-in-class confectionery concepts that are highly engaging and creative, with iconic and impactful store designs to deliver an unforgettable customer experience, a wide assortment of products at a suitable price point to cater to different tastes, creative use of technology and visual merchandising techniques, and marketing activations to increase penetration and conversion as well as outstanding customer service.
The tender exercise is split into four different concessions areas.
Concession A has two premises.
Premise A2’s floor size is 174 square meters, with a tenancy period of 3 years from April 11 2020 to April 10 2023.
Premise A3’s floor size is 35 square meters, with a tenancy period of 3 years from June 11 2020 to June 10 2023.
Concession B has four premises.
Premise B1’s floor size is 240 square meters, with a 3-year tenancy period from (i) March 12 2020 or (ii) upon the handover of the unit to the Tenant, whichever is later of (i) or (ii).
Premise B2’s floor size is 126.5 square meters, with a tenancy period from May 1 2020 to (i) August 30 2021 or (ii) upon the takeover of the Premises from the Tenant for T2E works, whichever is later of (i) or (ii)
New Premise B2’s floor size is 162 square meters, with a tenancy period from (i) September 1 2021 or (ii) upon the handover of the Premises to the Tenant, whichever is later of (i) or (ii), to April 30 2023.
Premise B3’s floor size is 93 square meters, with a 3-year tenancy period from May 1 2020 to April 30 2023
Premises B4’s floor size is 68 square meters, with a 3-year tenancy period from March 12 2020 to March 11 2023.
Concession C has two premises.
Premise C1’s floor size 219 square meters, with a 3-year tenancy period from Mar 24 2020 to Mar 23 2023.
Premise C2’s floor size is 150 square meters, with a 3-year tenancy period from Jun 9 2020 to Jun 8 2023.
Concession D has a floor size of 431.4 square meters with a 3-year tenancy period from Oct 31 2021 to Oct 30 2025.
All premises have a 2-year renewal option with the exception of the existing premises B2 and concession D.
