DFWC requests input on Recovery Framework Protocol

By Jas Ryat

As announced last week, the Duty Free World Council (DFWC) is currently developing a Recovery Framework Protocol, and requests the input of industry stakeholders.

The Council believes it is essential to create a common industry approach to re-opening retail outlets, in order to gain permission to reopen and restore staff and consumer confidence. DFWC says ensuring consistency is “fundamental to sales recovery.”

The Council would like companies to make their contributions to building a workable and meaningful Protocol. The questionnaire to help gather broad industry input is posted on the DFWC website https://www.surveymonkey.com/r/B3BHKMR

All industry stakeholders are requested to assist in the creation of the Protocol by completing the survey by Friday May 15th.

Once the information has been gathered and evaluated, the DFWC Academy will develop a training program to facilitate the implementation of the protocols industry wide.
