Mumbai Duty Free named as one of Asia’s 100 Greatest Brands
Mumbai Duty Free has been recognized as one of Asia’s 100 Greatest Brands for 2017 at Asia’s Greatest Brands and Leaders Awards.
The award was presented by AsiaOne Magazine and URS Media on January 29 at Marina Bay Sands, Singapore.
The winners are judged on the basis of research across 16 industries, 1,200 brands and 62 sub-categories from multiple sectors.
Representing Mumbai Duty Free at the annual summit was Manishi Sanwal, CEO, Mumbai Duty Free.
Commenting on the win, Sanwal said: “We are proud to be the recipient of this prestigious industry award and happy to be recognized on a global platform. We at MDF constantly aim to provide best value to our customers, who make us their preferred retailer.”
Mumbai Duty Free launched a global first marketing campaign, Mumbai Duty Free is now Free, having researched the behaviour of Indian travelers, who seek the best value for their purchase.
The campaign provides discount vouchers, redeemable coupons, and complementary experiences from partner brands which the customer can use for making purchases in India.
“With double the value back from partner brands, a customer’s purchase at Mumbai Duty Free technically becomes free,” the operator said.
