Lotte Duty Free has donated a minibus to help the elderly and disabled people in Busan

Lotte Duty Free (LDF) has donated a 15-seater bus to an elderly welfare centre in Busan as part of its community service project.

According to LDF, Busan has around 64,000 elderly and 18,000 disabled people and the proportion of this vulnerable population continues to grow but support for them is limited. Recognizing this problem, LDF’s Busan branch decided to donate its vehicle to help. LDF also said it is keen to improve the quality of life for the vulnerable by providing transportation expenses to support leisure and cultural activities for them.

Commenting on this initiative, LDF’s Busan branch head Huh Ki said: “We are proud to be able to provide a small amount of help to improve the quality of life of the vulnerable in Busan.”

“Lotte Duty Free will continue to contribute to the community by organizing various activities.”
