Ever Rich Duty Free Shop provides scholarships to 151 disadvantaged students
151 primary and secondary school students received scholarship awards from Ever Rich Duty Free Shop and Yungray Charity Foundation at an award presentation ceremony at the Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium

Ever Rich Duty Free Shop and the Yungray Charity Foundation have presented scholarships to 151 disadvantaged students in Taoyuan city, Taiwan for the 17thconsecutive year. Yungray is one of three major foundations of Ever Rich.
According to Ever Rich, the awards are given to outstanding primary and secondary students in low-income families in the Taoyuan City to encourage them to persevere. The students were recommended by their school teachers to receive the scholarships.
This year, the “Excellent Student Scholarship Award” ceremony was held at the Taoyuan International Baseball Stadium, in cooperation with Lamigo, a Taiwanese professional baseball team. Through the scholarship, Ever Rich and Yungray hope that students will be able to focus on their academic performance without worrying about their finances.
At the scholarship award ceremony, Ever Rich Chairman Simon Chiang urged the students not to give up by likening the spirit of persevering to a baseball game. He said: “Until the end of the ninth inning, you wouldn’t know the outcome so you cannot give up. Just like our life, keep the faith when you encounter difficulties and frustrations, then you will be able to make a winning hit when the opportunity comes!"
