Lotte Duty Free has temporarily closed its Myeongdong main store to prevent the spread of the Coronavirus

Lotte Duty Free has today announced the temporary closure of its Myeongdong main store from 2pm today to Sunday to prevent the spread of Coronavirus.

Korea Centers for Disease Control & Prevention (KCDC) has confirmed today (February 7) that Korea’s 23rd confirmed patient, a Chinese customer, had visited Lotte Department Store Main Branch. Although the patient did not visit Lotte Duty Free’s Myeong-dong Main Store, Lotte decided to close the store for its customers’ and employees’ health and safety since the main store is located within the same building as the main branch.

The store will be reopened on February 10.
