Current Deputy CEO, DDFS, will take the reins as CEO on December 5, 2020

Current Deputy CEO of Delhi Duty Free Services (DDFS), Ashish Chopra, has been appointed as Chief Executive Officer, replacing current CEO Philip Eckles. Chopra will begin his new role on December 5.

Chopra joined DDFS as Head of Purchasing in 2013; he was promoted to the position of Chief Operating Officer (COO) in April 2017 and then further promoted to the position of Deputy CEO in September 2019.

Prior to joining DDFS, Chopra had spent several years in international buying, merchandising and retail roles with some of India’s largest retail companies.

Mr GBS Raju, Chairman of Delhi Duty Free Services, commented: “Over his seven years with the organisation Ashish has played an integral role in the success of Delhi Duty Free and I know as he takes on these new responsibilities that he will skilfully lead DDFS as it recovers and rebuilds from the impact of the COVID-19 pandemic. I, along with the Directors of the Board, wish Ashish every success in his new role”.
