DFS offers promotions for Alipay customers
Luxury travel retailer, DFS Group has partnered with Alipay, the leading payment and lifestyle platform, to launch the mobile payment service’s 12.12 promotion at key DFS locations in Asia and North America.
Over 110 million shoppers have participated in Alipay’s 12.12 annual global shopping festival this year. Alipay users visiting DFS locations in Asia and USA during 9-12 December enjoyed a variety of offers, including 10 percent off selected products in Beauty and Fragrances, Fashion and Accessories, Food and Gifts, and Wines and Spirits, and ¥50 coupons.

In Hong Kong, Alipay chose DFS’ T Galleria Beauty location in Causeway Bay as the launch pad for the city’s 12.12 promotion, staging a flash mob in front of the store and installing a real-time heat map to show where Causeway Bay shoppers were utilizing Alipay.
Over 110 million shoppers globally participated in Alipay’s 2016 12.12 shopping festival. DFS offers Alipay as a payment option for customers in eight locations across Asia and North America.
