The Glenrothes unveils second exclusive single cask series for World Duty Free and Heathrow Airport
Starting the first week of December, a limited number of bottles from this release will be available in World Duty Free shops and specialist stores across all Heathrow terminals
The Glenrothes has unveiled the second release from its Exclusive Single Cask Series, which will be bottled exclusively for World Duty Free and Heathrow Airport. Starting December 4, only 274 bottles will be available in World Duty Free shops & specialist stores across all Heathrow terminals.
Since 1879, the Glenrothes has been making remarkable single malt whisky in the heart of Speyside. The brand’s Exclusive Single Cask Collection offers something truly special to the world of whisky. Master Whisky Maker, Gordon Motion, has chosen a small selection of the very best casks to be bottled as single casks, allowing whisky aficionados to enjoy the drink in its purest form.
Drawn from a bourbon-seasoned American oak cask, #8190, filled on June 21, 1999, and bottled at cask strength of 54.4% ABV, the 19-year-old Exclusive Single Cask Edition selected for World Duty Free at Heathrow is presented in individually numbered bottles. The whisky offers notes of aromatic spices and rich cherries.
