Paying tribute to those born in the Year of the Rat, Balmoral Dominican celebrates Chinese New Year

With the release of Year of the Rat limited editions of its Balmoral Collection 12’s and Balmoral Private Collection 25’s cigars, the company celebrates Chinese New Year.

Described as full of energy, social and charming, it’s believed that people born in the Year of the Rat are honest individuals that enjoy living in the moment. As a tribute to these characteristics, Agio Cigars selected the pair of limited editions.

The Balmoral Collection 12’s Year of the Rat wooden box contains 4 Small Panatelas, 4 Panatelas, 2 Coronas and 2 Corona Tubos cigars.

The Balmoral Private Collection 25’s Year of the Rat wooden box contains 5 Short Coronas, 5 Coronas, 3 Corona Tubos, 5 Panatelas, 5 Small Panatelas and 2 Small Panatela Tubos.

Both editions are available in select duty free markets.

Gertrude Stormink, Global Travel Retail Manager, Agio Cigars, says: “Duty free shoppers enjoy finding unique luxury products and interesting gifts when visiting duty free shops. These eye-catching wooden boxes not only celebrate the Chinese New Year, but also serve as great gifts for cigar smokers.”
