By Hibah Noor

Irene Ullmann, Perfumes & Cosmetics Division Head of London Supply Group, has retired after 40 years at the Argentinian operator.

Ullmann, who retired on January 1, 2020, will be replaced by Debora Eseiza, who has worked at the company since 2005 and has held the position of Fashion & Accessories Category Head for the last seven years.

In a letter to suppliers announcing the personnel changes, Commercial Director Magdalena Ducos paid tribute to Ullmann, known in the company as Iro, saying that she had left “an indelible impression on the history of the company and on the hearts of each and every staff that make up this organization”.

She went on to describe her as “a person who has followed an impeccable professional path, and who is able to look back over a brilliant career, which was achieved not only based on her high degree of technical skill but also on the principles and values that she embodies and observes day by day.”

Debora Eseiza took up her new position as Perfumes & Cosmetics Division Head on January 1.

In addition, London Supply has appointed Andrea Peker as Fashion & Accessories Division Head. She has been employed at the operator since 1996 and has worked in the Fashion & Accessories Division for the last 10 years.

“Her expertise in the category and her professional growth over these years doubtlessly make her the appropriate person to run this division,” wrote Ducos.

“I wish Irene all the best in this new phase of life and I wish Debora and Andrea a successful undertaking of their well-deserved new positions,” she concluded.
