Two groups of colleagues win US$1 million each in Dubai Duty Free draw

The Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire draw was conducted by Dubai Duty Free’s Executive Vice Chairman & CEO, Colm McLoughlin, Chief Operating Officer, Ramesh Cidambi; Salah Tahlak, Executive Vice President – Corporate Services, Sinead El Sibai, Senior Vice President – Marketing, and Mona Al Ali, Senior Vice President – Human Resources

Two groups of colleagues, along with four luxury vehicle winners, were announced at the Dubai Duty Free Millennium Millionaire and Finest Surprise draw held on August 6 in Concourse A, Dubai International Airport.

Neeraj Hari, an Indian national based in Dubai, became a dollar millionaire when the ticket he bought online was drawn in Millennium Millionaire Series 306.

As a regular participant in the Dubai Duty Free promotions, Hari split the ticket cost with his 10 colleagues at a logistics company in Jebel Ali.

“Many thanks from myself and my colleagues; we have been waiting for this for a long time. Thank you, Dubai Duty Free,” he said.

Another lucky ticket holder who will be sharing the US$1 million prize money with his colleagues is Bantwal Annu Sudhakar, an Indian national based in Ras Al Khaimah, who won in Series 307 with ticket No. 2686, which he bought online.

Sudhakar is a regular participant in the million-dollar promotion and shared the cost of the tickets with 42 members of his team.

Sudhakar said: “This is amazing, I cannot believe that we won. My team is very happy, and a big thank you to Dubai Duty Free!”

Following the Millennium Millionaire draws, four more winners were announced in the Dubai Duty Free Finest Surprise Promotion.

Michel Weber, a French national, won an Audi A8L 3.0 in Series 1725 with ticket No. 0800.

Khurshid Ahmed, a Pakistani national from Lahore, won a BMW 760Li xDrive in Series 1726 with ticket No. 0419.

Fred Faidhi, a British national in Dubai, won the BMW S 1000 RR motorbike in Series 373 with ticket No. 0991.

A second-time motorbike winner, David Kingen, a Belgian national, won a BMW R Nine T Racer motorbike in Series 374 with ticket number 0934, bought online.

Kingen, who works for the Belgian government, won a BMW R Nine T Urban in 2017.
