Dufry extends contract at Helsinki for 5 years

Dufry has announced a five-year extension of its contract with Finavia to operate both duty free and duty paid shops at Helsinki Airport.
Of the eight stores included in this contract, five are duty free located in both Schengen and Non-Schengen areas, one is a duty paid arrivals store and two are specialty stores – Max Mara and Burberry – located in the Non-Schengen area. These stores cover a total retail area of 3,624 square meters, and offer local Finnish brands in addition to major global brands.
This extension comes as the airport is undergoing a considerable restructuring and extension. To best serve customers and to benefit from the new passenger flows, Dufry will refurbish its Schengen main duty-free store and build a new arrivals store as part of the extension agreement.
