Kreol debuts Dobbe Cognac in India
Dobbe Cognac has partnered with Kreol Travel Retail for its maiden tribute to travelers at Indian duty free outlets.
“We are proud to be stepping into the region. We have chosen Cochin Duty Free as our launchpad to the Indian market as Kerala has a loyal base of Cognac and brandy enthusiasts. Also, passengers from the Arabian Gulf are fond of these products,” said Nicolas Stearns, General Manager of Travel Retail at Dobbe.
Cochin International Airport is the first in India to be built by a public-private partnership and is considered the third-largest airport in the country. Several new development plans are expected under the leadership of the Managing Director of Cochin Airport, Mr. S. Suhas.
Leading travel retail operator Dufry has a successful joint venture for managing Cochin Duty Free.
Lal Arakulath, CEO at Kreol Group, said: “Kreol Travel Retail is the exclusive travel retail distributor for Dobbe. We have been working on various projects together, including launching the product at Dubai Duty Free. Dobbe Cognac’s perfect balance is the result of decades of experience acquired by the cellar master. The Dobbe family has produced exceptional cognac for generations.”
