Cyprus airports' CEO to step down in 2013
George Casey, President and CEO of Vantage Airport Group, today announced a change in leadership at the company that operates Cyprus’s two largest airports, Pafos and Larnaka International Airports. Alfred van der Meer will step down as CEO of Hermes Airports Limited at the end of February 2013 and the position will be taken up by Craig Richmond, currently CEO of Vantage Airports UK, which owns Liverpool John Lennon Airport.
“During Mr. van der Meer’s five-year tenure, Hermes completed construction of new terminals at both Pafos and Larnaka International Airports,” said Casey. “He built a strong and professional team that is committed to customer satisfaction and airports that Cyprus can be proud of.”
With the appointment of Richmond, the award-winning Hermes airports continue to be led by CEOs drawn from Vantage Airport Group, an industry-leading investor, developer and manager of airports around the world and shareholder in Hermes Airports Limited.
