Dubai Duty Free wins big at Business Traveller Middle East Awards
The leading retailer was announced as the “Best Airport for Duty Free Shopping in the Middle East” for the 20th consecutive year at the virtual ceremony
At the virtual ceremony for the Business Traveller Middle East Awards, Dubai Duty Free was announced as the “Best Airport for Duty Free Shopping in the Middle East” for the 20th consecutive year.
Dubai Duty Free, which marked its 37th anniversary in December 2020 walked away on top in the readers’ survey conducted by Business Traveller magazine within the duty free category. The team beat stiff competition among the other nominated airport retailers.
“It is such an honor to receive this award for the 20th consecutive year. It has been a challenging year for the travel industry as a result of COVID-19, so it is especially rewarding to receive this recognition once more.

Organized by Motivate Publishing and Panacea Publishing, the awards recognize the best of the best across 33 categories spanning 10 airlines awards, four airport awards, 17 hotel awards and more.
The awards ceremony was held virtually for the second year running and was hosted by Tom Urquhart.
