In the late 1980s our Publisher Aijaz (AJ) Khan saw the future.
At that time few thought the duty free industry would really grow outside of Europe, but Khan believed three other regions would become important: Americas, Asia and Gulf-Africa, and he established trade magazines focused on each of these three regions.
Time has proven him correct, as, combined, these three regions now account for over 70% of global travel retail sales, according to 2016 figures.
Over the past 25 years, our full-color, glossy, high-end magazines grew right alongside duty free in these regions, we have an incredibly strong relationship with those in the industry.
We have locally based writers in Singapore, Dubai and other locations around the globe.
In our Americas issues, we offer many of our feature articles in Spanish, and in Mandarin, for our Asia issues.
Our magazines go out to our entire global and regional databases, with bonus distribution at the Summit of the Americas, TFWA Asia Pacific, TFWA World Exhibition, FDFA Convention, MEADFA conference and other important events such as the TFWA China Century conference. We also produce category-focused issues throughout the year, which go out digitally our entire database.
